Earthy Glam

I’m loving these images from the recent Anthropologie catalog (Issue 11). I love the palette of textures – soft, earthy knits mixed with glamorous sequins and beading. Either drapey chiffon (right) or a statement stone necklace (left) adds more textural depth. I’m crazy about this “Thulean necklace” by Viktoria Hayman. It’s organic yet graphic, even slightly “tribal”, and that’s my kind of mix! Since I certainly can’t afford it, I’ve decided to try my hand at making my own necklace inspired by it.
